Green scores 30, Dragic 24, as Suns cruise

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA

Suns twins Markieff and Marcus Morris came into Monday nights game pumped as they were to play in their home town, Philadelphia. But in the end, it was Gerald Green who stole the show.

Green scored 30 points, along with Goran Dragic who added 24, and the Phoenix Suns (26-18) cruised by the Philadelphia 76ers (14-31).  The Suns high energy offense proved to be to much for a young 76ers team, as the Suns were in control from start to finish. They would make 10 of their first 11 shots and take a early 16 point lead, and never looked back.

Green was the star as he scored 30 on 10 for 12 shooting. He also hit 4 from beyond the arc. His only mistake was missing a dunk late in the game. He also blocked 3 shots, and got a steal.

Although both of these teams were predicted to have seasons that would put them at the bottom of their respective conferences, the teams seasons are going different ways. The Suns have already won more games this year than last, and are positioned to make the playoffs in tough Western Conference. The 76ers had a great start to the season, starting 3-0 and beating the powerhouse Miami Heat. But since have faltered, and are now towards the bottom of the Eastern Conference.
